Longmont Coins, Longmont, Colorado, Chamberlain Coins and Collectibles, Coins Longmont, COWhen Mark Chamberlain was 13, he put a nickel in a grocery store gumball machine and his prize was a 1913 penny.  He has been hooked on collecting coins ever since. In 1996, Mark turned his lifelong passion into a business.

Mark makes sure every young child who visits Chamberlain Coins dba Chamberlain Gold and Silver Exchange Limited, with an adult, receives a Buffalo Nickel and hopes his generosity stirs their interest in numismatics.

Mark, his wife Rose, and their two children have been long time residents of the Boulder county area. Through their volunteer work and charitable contributions, they pride themselves on giving to the community and local non-profits such as The Inn-Between, OUR Center, Longmont Museum and Cultural Center, Safe Shelter and A Woman's Work to name a few.  They have been involved with Longmont St. Vrain Rotary Club for the past six years and served on numerous boards in Longmont. Mark and Rose Chamberlain are not only passionate about the locally-owned business they operate, but also the community in which they live.

St. Vrain Rotary Club of Longmont Rotary is a service organization. Since 1910, the Rotary Motto has been “Service Above Self.” Rotary strives to achieve it’s objective of “Service Above Self” through activities in four primary areas. These are often referred to as the Four Avenues of Service.

The Inn Between  Provides transitional housing and services for homeless individuals and families to help them achieve self-sufficiency.

The Outreach United Resource Center, In late 1986, two seemingly catastrophic events took place in Longmont that would change the community. First, the Salvation Army Center was forced to close its doors after losing 1000 pounds of "USDA" foods. Then, the Samaritan House, which had been in operation for 17 years providing food and clothing to those in need. In short, the Samaritan House could no longer afford to stay open!

L.E.V.I. (Longmont Ending Violence Initiative) is an awareness project designed to enlist the entire community in an effort to reduce and control domestic violence. It is our intent to teach members of the community how to become part of the solution to end domestic violence by getting resources to the relationship before the violence escalates.

Longmont Council for the Arts provides leadership and advocacy to support, inspire, and enhance the arts community to elevate the quality of life in the greater St. Vrain Valley region.
